The walnut comes from the walnut tree, a tree in the Juglandaceae family. This fruit is rounded and has a brown shell composed of two halves. Inside, there are two to four compartments that house the seed, from which emerges a juicy flesh. Its flavor is distinguished by a unique sweetness that lingers on the palate after consumption.
